'New to Camping' event at Warwick Castle a Royal Success

The Camping and Caravanning Club’s New to Camping event (part of National Camping and Caravanning Week) held at Warwick Castle has been declared a huge success for the second consecutive year.
With a number of Royal tents and accessories on show it was a huge success for us as well.

The Club’s Director General Robert Louden, was enthusiastic about the event and said: “It was a fantastic two days as leading camping retailers and manufacturers joined The Club to promote the outdoors lifestyle.
“As camping continues to thrive, it’s all set to be a busy summer.”

Club President David Bellamy and Countryfile Television Presenter Julia Bradbury, who are known for their love of the outdoor lifestyle were both on site to meet with both new and experienced campers

Bradbury said: “Once again, The Club’s New to Camping event was a massive success, encouraging more people to experience camping and the outdoors. “I am a big fan of ‘glamping’ (glamorous camping) and as manufacturers continue to develop their products, camping is becoming a luxurious pastime “I would encourage everyone to try it. The opportunity to meet new friends, get closer to nature and have some fun is too exciting to ignore.”

Bellamy added: “The preservation of wildlife and reducing the country’s carbon footprint is imperative. Camping is the perfect solution. “Get your tents ready and go and explore our beautiful countryside. With over 100 award-winning Club Sites, The Club has the perfect site for everyone. Carry on Camping!”

The New to Camping campaign was launched by The Club in May 2009 and aims to bring new and experienced campers together to celebrate and experience the adventure of the great outdoors.

Royal supports the 'New to Camping' event at Warwick Castle

Join us at the Camping & Caravanning Club's 'New to Camping' event on the 2nd & 3rd of June, and see our 2010 tents on display in the beautiful gardens of Warwick Castle: Hampton 7, Cuban 6, Panama 4, Tampa 4 and Tucson 4. A wide range of furniture, accessories and tent extension is displayed on site.

Royal Tents on display at Camping Exhibition

Check out our 2010 tents at the Camping Exhibiton at Vanstone Park Garden Centre, Hitchin Road, Codicote, Herts SG4 8TH. The show will be open from 15th May until 13th June. We have 5 of our 2010 tents on display:  Tampa 4, Tampa 6, Austin 5, Atlanta 6 and Atlanta 8. We also have the additional extension up on both of the Atlanta tents. The exhibition also has a wide range of our furniture and accessories availble on site.
